E.M. Ervin is a voracious consumer of fantasy and science-fiction literature, gamer, prankster, and all-around geek-gal. When not writing, she enjoys hiking, dancing, time-travel, martial arts,  thumbwrestling the occasional supervillain, and embarrassing her son.  She currently resides in Missouri with her 3 children:  one son, one dog, and the feline who rules them all.
